Brett Holmes joined Money Management Services in 2024, bringing with him several years of experience in public accounting and tax planning. Prior to joining the firm, Brett spent five years working in public accounting, where he developed extensive experience preparing and planning for corporate, partnership, and individual income taxes. His background provides our firm with another accountant preparing individual and trust tax returns.

Brett earned his Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the University of Mississippi in 2014. While attending Ole Miss, he was also a member of the university’s track and field team, competing as a pole-vaulter and decathlete. He is currently working toward earning his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation as he continues to expand his expertise in tax and financial planning.

At Money Management Services, Brett's background provides our firm with another accountant preparing individual and trust tax returns. He supports our firm’s broader goal of continuing to provide comprehensive financial guidance.

Brett lives in Hoover with his wife, Maddie, and their two sons. The family also shares their home with two dogs. Outside of the office, Brett enjoys going to the beach, fishing and spending time with his family.
